Paula Booth

I began my career in 1989 in the Metropolitan Police serving in Lambeth as both a uniform officer and a detective before transferring to South Yorkshire police. I then served in a number of uniform and CID departments across the organisation. In 2009, I was promoted to Chief Inspector in West Yorkshire.

I have always enjoyed public order and am currently a qualified Silver and Bronze Commander. I am also a Tactical Firearms commander and the lead CT SecCo for WYP and Chair of the WYP-BAWP Committee.

Academically I have a degree in Psychology and a Masters in Criminology and continue to learn in life.

I enjoy sports, which include general fitness, rugby, walking and running.
